Dee started djing in the early 80's first playing out in 1985. Initially playing disco, funk, soul and hip hop before his introduction to house music listening to Jazzy M`s radio show “The Jackin Zone” in 1986. Over the years as well as running his own nights Dee has played at some of clubland's seminal clubs and events with some of house music’s best known and respected dj’s - Pete Tong, Victor Simonelli, David Comachio, Luvdup, Freemasons, Full Intention, Soul Avengerz, Grant Nelson, Brandon Block, Alex P, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Steve Proctor and Bobby Blanco being notable examples from a very long list. He was also a long standing resident at Club Warehouse. Dee has also had shows on various radio stations, including seminal London pirates Laser FM and Shine FM and can currently be found on Funky SX across Essex on 103.7 FM and world wide via www.funkysx.com Saturday's 6-8 and Sunday's 8-10pm. Given his early roots, no surprise Dee is currently best known for championing new funky/disco house and nu disco.

Bernardo Pereira, since he was a little boy, contact with music has always been very important, he used to go to his parents' music store and music was an indispensable constant at home. In 1994 he started his career as a DJ with a group of friends from his city who shared the same interests in electronic music. He started playing as a resident in several clubs and bars at the same time. A few years later, he began to play at parties at national and international level, such as End of Year at Exponor 1998 by the then producer Heart & Soul, it was at this time that he began to edit his own songs for various record labels, which led him to be invited to play in several European countries. Nowadays with 2 alter-egos he plays sounds ranging from Melodic House & Techno that he plays like Bernardo Pereira, Deep Tech / minimal / Tech house / Techno like DJ Teksuo. During the long years of his career he played at parties across Europe and with DJs such as Josh Wink, Marco Carola, Jeff Mills, Eddie Amador, Joesky, Luke Solomon, Kenny Hawkes, David Alvarado, Claude Young, Jesus del Campo, DJ Vibe, Frank Maurel, Candy Cox , Temudo, DJ Jiggy, Luis XL Garcia, X-man among many others. Played in mythical places in Portugal like Rock's, Pacha, Via invicta, internationally played in clubs like 1001 (London-UK), Thirteen (London-UK), Bhuda (Paris-France), Octopus (Pontessesures-Spain), Spectra (Vigo -Spain), ADN (Ponteareas-Spain) and many others. In Portugal clubs such as Alfândega, X-tema, Paralelo 43, Albergaria, Beat Club, Carga d'agua and in Spain clubs such as House of Colors (Pontevedra), Beat Box (Tuy) among others have been residences over the years.

I started DJing at the age of 18, when my mother asked me if I want a driving licence for my birthday or a record player - I decided for the record player ☺ My idols were and are Todd Terry, Westbam, Gary D., Paul Oakenfold, Steve "Silk" Hurley, Tyree Cooper, Matthias Heilbronn and many others. I spinned "live" at a few parties and at some clubs. I love all types of music, so I spinned "Salsa and Merengue" for a few years too - love the Latin vibe. I was born 49 years ago and have been close to music since childhood. As a young man, I decided I wanted to become a DJ. **My professional start** came in 1993. That’s when I fully committed to mixing and creating music for discos and club events. My distinctive style and energetic performances quickly won me popularity, and I gradually became a familiar face in the local club circuit. **During my career**, I had the amazing opportunity to travel and perform on various stages. These experiences enriched me immensely, not just musically but also as a person. I learned to feel the crowd’s energy, and my mixing skills became my trademark, propelling me to the top of the local DJ scene. **After years spent in the prime of my career**, I felt in 2008 that it was time for a change. I decided to end my active DJ career and devote myself to other interests and responsibilities. Though I no longer play at major events today, my passion for music and mixing still burns within me. **I’m still part of** our local music community, and I’m proud of what I’ve achieved for DJ culture.
